Which Second Will Be Your Last?

So I know its kind of late to write my blog post, but I forgot last week and I decided to write it today before I completely forget...As it turns out today just wasn't one of my best days. *Fair warning this is probably going to be one of my more depressing posts...*

Just today I got news that my friend Steve died and it really made me question whether or not I was a good friend. It's just a shock when someone so close to you is unexpectedly gone. It makes you question the last words you said to them or if they felt like you were really there for them...I'd like everyone to know that if you need me, you could call me. I don't care if I'm sleeping, if I'm having my own problems or if I'm angry at you. If you need me and if you need to talk to me. I'll always be there for you. No matter how big or small you problem is, I'll be there.

You should live life while you can because you never know which second will be your last. Today I was fortunate to wake up and I don't want to waste this life arguing and fighting with the past. We were never given a good life nor a bad life. We are given a life, and It's up to us to make it good or bad.

My biggest mistake in my long....long....18 years of life is that I did not realize how precious life is and did not live in the moment enough. This is even more clear now that the moment is gone, captured only by photographs...here are five rules to live by so that you might live in the moment not in the photograph:

1. Free your heart from hatred.
2. Free your mind from worries.
3. Live simply.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less.

"Be grateful for every second of every day that you get to spend with the people you love. Life is so precious." -Many Hale
